Soviet literature must teach patriotism. Comrade writers, mobilise for the military defence of the socialist homeland. Comrade Stalin writes that all the people must always be ready to fight in the face of the danger of a military attack. Military defence literature is the duty of all members of the Writers’ Union; we have no more sacred duty to the Soviet people than this.
