Other grandiose goals of creating the new socialist culture include the task of structuring our literary language by cleansing it of parasites. This task must be accomplished by our Soviet literature. The great merit of pre-revolutionary classical literature lies in the fact that the classics, starting with Pushkin, selected the most precise, lively and serious words from within linguistic chaos, creating a large and beautiful language. We must remember that our country must remain ideologically united despite its great linguistic variety. In our country, every fighter must be educated; leaders who create armies of ignorant soldiers will no longer be leaders. To strive for semantic purity and precision is to strive for an instrument of culture.
