We must create a true literature of socialism that reflects all the achievements of the culture of the present and the past, otherwise Soviet literature risks becoming marginal and ignorant. Convoluted syntax and vague images that are not precise enough can lead to an undesirable effect. Even literary translations, even those of Academia, sometimes suffer from this illiteracy. Literary translations should serve the enrichment of the literary language; fighting for our literary language also means fighting for the culture of socialism.
